This year marks the 19th year for the Ohio Lesbian Festival. The festival is
held each September at Frontier Ranch near Kirkersville, Ohio. Over the past
several years, attendance has fallen and the financial situation of the
festival has become more precarious. While the planning committee was able
to retire the debt for last year's festival, they were left with very little
start up money for this year's festival. A winter fund-raiser has enabled
them to start booking performers and rent the site for this year's festival.
This summers fund-raiser - The Festival Garage Sale during the annual
Victorian Village Sales, will enable them to continue planning for the
festival.

 

Donations are still needed for the sale. All items (other than clothes) can
be dropped off at Alternative Auto Care, 136 West 5th Ave, Columbus, Ohio -
Monday through Friday from 9am - 6pm. If you have larger items you would
like to donate please call 294-0580 to schedule a drop-off time. 

 

So empty out your closets, basements and garages and donate your goods to
the Ohio Lesbian Festival. 

 

And even if you don't have anything to donate make sure you stop by this
Saturday - Rain or Shine - at Auto Care, 136 West 5th Ave, Columbus, Ohio -
>From 8am to 3pm. All money raised will go towards this year's festival on
September 13th, 2008.
