We are less than two weeks from celebrating the 

The 20th Anniversary
Ohio Lesbian Festival
September
19-20, 2009

We have booked a line up with 2 days of amazing performers, have workshops planned and have crafters and vendors coming from all over to share their wares... there are poets, belly dancers, new food, burlesque, fire dancers and finally, there is camping! We have poured our energy and our hearts into creating an anniversary festival that honors and celebrates 20 spectacular years of womyn's culture, womyn's music and womyn's spirit.


Now, what we need, is you! 

We are at a truly pivotal point!
For this festival to survive, to be able to keep bringing you amazing music and help our community thrive, we need you to help. We ask you to forward festival information (this email) to your email list's, post it on your Facebook, Myspace, Livejournal pages, your web sites, encourage your friends~every woman you know~to make it to festival this year.

You may think this isn't about you~ 
that the music you were hoping for wasn't booked, you aren't able to make it, you aren't from the area or you haven't been...

But it is, it must be.
Safe and sacred space for woman's community is crucial for everyone. Not only do we bring the more and more rare opportunity to discover new woman's music and find comfort in old favorites... but to connect with kindred spirits, to support and empower a diverse culture of women to go back out into the world recharged and renewed~ ready to help make the world a better place. And that is about everyone.

The Ohio Lesbian Festival marks its 20th Anniversary this year with many new and exciting changes. 
The September 19 & 20, 2009 event will be the first time the festival will be held over 2 days and includes:

free camping with the purchase of a weekend pass.

The weekend will include 3 sensational stages, a poetry tent, an after hours party, merchants, an indie craft bazaar, burlesque, drumming, belly dancers & workshops. Daycare is available. We are featuring a new menu with corn on the cob and a variety of higher quality meat, including vegetarian options and breakfast foods are being added.

The Frontier Ranch property has also undergone renovations that make festival production easier and camping more appealing.  A newly remodeled shower house and improvements to the stage area and the concession stands will make for a pleasant experience for everyone.
