GET YOUR MAMMOGRAM!
Ohio Health's Mobile Mammography bus will be joining us on Saturday only. Contact Central Scheduling at 614-566-1111 to book an appointment. The location will be listed as Frontier Ranch in Kirkersville, Ohio. Walk-ins will be welcome, but you are encouraged to schedule.
SUNDAY DAY STAGE LINEUP!
Kate Reid will be our Sunday Day Stage MC after wowing us on Saturday afternoon with her knack for candid
story-telling and songwriting that is charged with humor and
social-political commentary. A straight shooter but definitely not
straight, she is as charming as she is in-your-face and is one of the
most original, incisive and entertaining songwriters to appear on the
scene in a long time.
Nedra Johnson and Tory Trujillo will start the stage rockin at noon. Nedra Johnson is a singer/songwriter multi-instrumentalist born &
living in New York City. Her unique style of guitar playing is
unmistakably informed by her many years as a professional bassist and
keeps her live solo acoustic performances more on an R&B tip then
what one might expect of a "girl with a guitar."
West Michigan vocalist Tory Trujillo believes in the healing power of sound vibration. Music is her passion because of the
personal healing she experiences through singing. Be prepared to be
deeply moved when you hear her soulful voice. Her voice is rich, soulful and Tory offers
incredible harmonies to a wide variety of musical styles.
Pamela Means takes over the next hour. She is "one of the fiercest guitar players and
politically-rooted singer-songwriters in the music industry today,"
(Curve Magazine) is a Brooklyn-based, internationally-touring
singer-songwriter and jazz musician. Quoting her inspiration, Warrior Poet Audre Lorde, Pamela asks "I am
myself- a Black woman warrior poet doing my work- come to ask you, are
you doing yours?" With Truth as ammunition, a Pamela Means performance
brings the fight for social justice and human dignity to the forefront
of a new generation.
Capping off the weekend will be the one and only Cris Williamson. “A voice like honey on a cello...Cris has been a lot of women’s heroes,
including mine.”-- Bonnie Raitt.
Decades before indie labels were the norm, and years before women had
any real access in the industry, in her own way, Cris Williamson was
busy changing the face of popular music. She hasn't looked back since.
Cris's stellar vocals and compelling persona are regarded as legendary
for good reason. Despite being like a well-kept secret, and dwelling
almost completely in the independent music world, she nonetheless had
an impact worldwide. Whether it's the vibrant clarity of Blue Rider, or the live concert
recording celebrating the (then) fifteenth anniversary of the anthemic
Changer, Williamson continues to traverse the musical and lyrical map.
A dynamic performer, she electrifies, empowers, and enlightens
audiences across the generational and musical spectrum. For over 30
years, Cris has toured incessantly, performing in Russia, Europe,
Australia, and New Zealand. One of the most sought-after performers on
the acoustic circuit, she continues to criss-cross America, selling out
Carnegie Hall three times.
We are thrilled, pleased and proud to have Cris top off our weekend!
